As I transitioned to a TDB, I experienced many new things. I will review some of the learning opportunities, such as implementing calendar systems, supporting students who use unique communication modes, and role releasing to teammates. I will share some strategies that best helped me, my team, and my students.

Sarah Mossberger is a certified TSVI who also has her graduate certificate in deafblindness from Texas Tech. She worked as a functional life skills teacher for 10 years before becoming an itinerant TSVI in Northside ISD in 2017.
