The VI-LD-RTI checklist was created (Jones et al., 2015) to aide child study teams in the identification of specific learning disabilities in students with visual impairments. This presentation will provide an update from TEA and NASP on this comorbidity, instruction on using the checklist, and guidance for assessment and intervention.
